OUR CLIENT, A MAJOR IT PLAYER IN CORK WISHES TO RECRUIT A SALES & MARKETING ASSISTANT WITH FLUENT GERMAN
The Sales Assistant is responsible for supporting the activities of the Inside Sales team. The role requires an excellent professional phone manner, customer service skills and attention to detail.
Responsibilities
Manage inbound email and fax orders and queries, enter new Sales orders into the appropriate system(s)
• Deal with inbound and outbound calls and e-mail from and to customers, communicating special offers and other promotions
• Achieve performance goals while providing an excellent customer experience
• Collect customer information, provide product information and direct customers to other resources as required.
• Execute on selected outbound campaigns
• Maintain regular communication with Internal Sales reps

Skills
• Customer-focused, detailed-oriented, with fluent German and English
• Has excelled in a customer facing environment
• Strong communication skills – adaptive communication and active listening
• Ability to maintain a positive attitude in high-stress/fast-paced work environment
• Possess a drive for results, demonstrate high degree of drive and determination
• Adaptive and flexible to changing technologies, process and environments
• Ability to work and make decisions with minimal supervision
• Complex problem solving abilities

Experience
• 1-2 years sales experience an advantage, though individuals with a clear customer service focus may be considered.
• Professional level verbal and written communication skills in English and German
• Ability to provide a great customer experience
• Experience with working with cross-functional teams
• Must have an interest in working with the latest technology, be computer literate and quickly learn new applications
• 3rd level qualification or equivalent work experience
