Job Description

Key Infrastructure Architect role to identify, design & deliver strategies for enterprise scale solutions, projects/upgrades & critical enhancements to key clients in a dynamic fast-paced environment. Successful candidate will report directly to the Service Delivery Manager; demonstrate sound business acumen & leadership skills.
This attractive package includes: basic salary €55,000; €7,000 car allowance; €8,400 on-call allowance (1 week per month – escalations only),  company pension, private healthcare, life assurance, 24 days holidays and other benefits.

 

 

Skills & Qualifications
 

Excellent knowledge of

 

  • Solaris
  • Storage (EMC VMAX & VNX ideally)
  • Virtualization
  • Demonstrated application of end-to-end architecture strategies, standards, processes, and tools in solution designs
  • Good communicator with both technical and non-technical teams

 

Desirable Requirements

Data Backup & Restore (EMC Networker; Symantec NetBackup)

Disk Path Management (Solaris MPIO, Veritas DMP, EMC PowerPath, Windows MPIO)

Data Replication (EMC RecoverPoint, MirrorView, SRDF, VMX Replicator, SnapView, SnapSure,TimeFinder Management, EMC Replication Manager)

Disk Management & File Systems (Solaris UFS, ZFS, Veritas Volume Manager and File System)

Data Archiving (Symantec Enterprise Vault)

Bachelor’s degree in a computer science, engineering, information technology discipline or equivalent.
