ROLE
To manage and develop team members through training, coaching, performance management, goal-setting and effective feedback to ensure that all team members are aware of how they are performing and receive the appropriate guidance and development to help them improve performance and conduct tasks effectively.
Provide clear direction and support in relation to all day to day finance activities to ensure clarity of understanding and financial awareness among all employees.
Reviewing and evaluating current functions, processes and systems in order to identify areas requiring
process improvements to ensure the highest quality of service.
Day-to-day financial expenditure approval in the form of A/P holds, employee expenses to ensure business costs are monitored an reviewed against agreed Business Plan.
Responsible for the preparation of monthly management accounts and variance analysis reports in line with the in-country Accounting Manager to provide accurate Financial reporting for management information and in accordance with GAAP.
To prepare all supporting documentation and information requests need by external auditors in the filing of the annual financial statements.
Analysis/review of all P&L accounts as part of the month end process and as requested by management to support cost analysis and review.
Responsible for the entire month end close including the review and posting of all journal entries, closing the Fixed Asset and Purchasing modules in Oracle in line with company driven deadlines whilst ensuring accurate reporting.
Preparation of all monthly, quarterly and annual schedules for Park Ridge obtaining the relevant approval levels and ensuring the meet the filling deadlines as outlined on a monthly basis by the Corporate Consolidation team.
To monitor and review all prepared reconciliations to ensure that internal procedures are being followed and deadlines met and any reconciling items/errors are identified and resolved within 90 days.
To manage the country specific statutory filing requirements.
To conduct interviews for internal/external recruitment as needed so that optimum staffing is maintained and staff development and progression can be facilitated.
REQUIREMENTS
Native German speaker and fluency in English.
Finalist in Professional Body (ACCA, CIMA, CPA or ACA) essential.
People management experience is essential min. 2 years.
Minimum of 3 years working in a financial environment essential.
Excellent communication skills
